… I just discovered that Fr. Klienman, my pastor at St. Mary’s in Old Town Alexandria (VA), gave a talk at a Theology on Tap on the subject. I haven’t heard it yet, but I bet it’s great.
Check it out here, and feel free to let me know how it is. I’ll check it out when I have a bit more time. For more great ToT lectures, go here.
A friend of mine goes to Saint Mary’s, works down on the riverboats, maybe you know him. I take it you’re living in Old Town. I lived in Old Town for years before I moved to Austin and came back to the Church. Sure would have been nice to have walked around the corner to go there.
What’s your friend’s name? Strangely enough, I was just talking yesterday with some St. Mary’s people about how all of our social circles overlap. I was at Pat Troy’s for Theology on Tap, and almost everyone at my table was connected to other people in really random ways (like the guy to my right, who I’d never met before, runs a penny-stakes poker game that one of my friends plays at).
He goes to Pat Troy’s also, not sure if it’s for ToT though. Funny to hear that name again after all these years. His name is Ken, kind of short with thick thick grey hair.
