  1. Darn google machine…it was St. Francis of Assissi who made the comments. I was just struck that 1) we’re still dealing with many of the same concerns 800 years later and 2) the “I like animals too” Confirmation saint isn’t recognized enough for his great Eucharistic devotion and pastoral astuteness.
